March Madness!

We moved out of the bathroom sink tub and into a bigger tub in the kitchen sink. Riley was the first to try it out with more leg room. Him and Cooper's legs were starting to hang off the bathroom sink. Gianna wanted to join in the bathing fun and rinse the shampoo from Ri's hair. She is a great big sis!

Other news, we are so excited for March Madness!! As you can see, we love our Duke Blue Devils, thanks to Daddy being alumni. We are hoping to GO.....ALL.......THE....WAAAAYY.....! this year in the tournament.  From left to right is: Gabby, Riley, Addy, Cooper, and Emmy with big sis Gianna in the middle.

We're 5 months old today!

We turned 5 months old today! We've grown so much since our last post. Here are some 4 mos and 5 mos pics of us. The solo pics are from today.

Gabby: I like to smile and laugh. I also love sucking my thumb!
Riley: I like to blow raspberries. My first tooth is coming out. I love gnawing on my hand. I can roll from tummy to back and almost back to tummy. I like to do push-ups.
Addy: I giggle really loud. I can roll from tummy to back. I like to suck on my hand. I get really mad when I'm hungry
Cooper: I love to laugh! I can roll from my tummy to back and almost from my back to tummy. I gnaw on hand as well.
Emmy: I love to work my charm on everyone by smiling! I think that I'm an only child sometimes. I can roll from tummy to back and almost back to tummy.

Gianna likes to make food for the babies. She is practicing for when they start eating solids. She is trying out her skills on Emmy. As you can see, the final product still needs to be worked on. But Emmy indulges G with the process :)

The girls are going to be moving to their own cribs soon. They keep waking each other up by hitting one another or sucking on someone else's fingers besides their own...ha ha.

The boys still sleep together and don't bother each other.....yet!

We've been Weighed, We've been Measured...

Daddy took us to our 4 month Doctor Visit today with 4 of our volunteers.  We were all weighed and measured and poked (4 shots each - Ouch!!). The only thing they didn't check was our 40 yard dash time and how many pushups we can do at one time.  Mommy couldn't come this time because she had to go to her own doctor visit.  She had a little scare with some bleeding.  She turned out to be ok, but we missed her.  Here are some fun pictures from our Doctor Visit and our 4 month stats below.

GRACE plus One welcomes the New Year

It is a new year 2013.  Like some of you, we just got around to recognizing that.  It has been busy around the Ferraro household this past month with never a moment to spare.  Once we finish one round of feeding, it seems like the next one starts.  Meryl started back to work (John takes that day off), so it never feels like we have a day off.  But, we couldn't be having more fun or feeling more blessed.  Every night when we finally hit the bed for 4-5 hours of sleep, Meryl and John ask each other the same question, "Can you believe we have 6 children?"  The answer is the same every night.  "No".  LOL. 

Gianna is learning to be more gentle and she genuinely seems to enjoy being around her brothers and sisters.  I know she can't wait until they can go outside and play with her.  One of her hobbies lately has been collecting worms with daddy when he is working in the yard/garden.  She also enjoys exploring her very active imagination in her new "cafe" and "house" in her playground.  Daddy and Gianna will take turns taking orders and making food for each other.  Gianna also likes to call Daddy daily at work and just tell him about her day and she always asks when he is coming home.

Grace is getting bigger every day and hitting new milestones. They are 3 1/2 months now.  They like to stay up longer and play.  They are "cooing" and trying to make noises.  They like to sit in their Bumbos. It won't be long before they are crawling and running around the house!!

It's Christmas - GRACE turns 3 months old!!

We celebrated our 1st Christmas.  It was fun.  It was Gianna's 3rd Christmas, so she showed us the ropes.  We got some great little toys for teething and rattling, etc...Gianna got some cool gifts too!!  We hope she will share them later, especially her new swing set that some of daddy's friends helped build for her.  We can't wait to grow up and play outside with Gianna!!
